.

she disappeared on "something" 1st.
they broke into her room
on second floor.
dream-stained pillows were
not washed for a while now,
yellow pencil had bite marks
and letters were not finished

insomnia smoke saturated air
was thick with tangible comfort
of insanity of dust particles
in the sun. static.

broken clocks, cans of lemonade,
cans of friends, canned laughs.

she took her right sandal
her canvas bag and a lighter.
butterfly net was missing among others

phone numbers were written
with the lip stick that
has not seen her lips
not even one

fields of paper on the wall
came off at places
and you could see the fields
behind them

the room looked as if
it was about to sneeze
or just did

and if it would, you thought,
the paper would come of completely
leaving the room naked and embarrassed
and she would appear out of nowhere

only to take her left sandal

Humbling. It is truely humbling to read you words.

The economy of your work is at odds with it's content.

Powerful, very strong.

I am going to print out your work and stick it to telegraph poles, I am going to hand it out in pubs, I'm going to take it to work, stand on a chair and read it out. I am going to tell all of my 'net family about your writing. I am going to call friends and read it down the 'phone to them.

Did I say I liked this?
